Florville YearRoundTM Perpetual Calendars (Part of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of Design) Initially produced as a self-promotion, our YearRoundTM perpetual calendars are injection molded in the US and have a pending patent. Rotating the outer disc, the month appears through the window and the dates/days are automatically set. Sold in high-end stores worldwide, our user-friendly calendars have won numerous international awards and were featured in Graphis, AIGA, and The Art of Calendar Design, among others. We’re particularly proud of its inclusion as part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of Design at the Cooper Hewitt.

Florville Cup Calendars Passionate about functional/calendar design, we set out to produce another self-promotion calendar. With the objective to create a low-cost, high-design calendar, we turned two ordinary clear plastic cups and a black rubber band into a functional design, proving that, regardless of budget, a good concept can create results beyond expectations

Our self-promotion calendar started with the objective to produce a low-cost, high-concept piece. Our goal was to create a product that our clients would find practical throughout the year, while showcasing our problem solving capability.

 

Our solution --  two ordinary clear plastic cups and a black rubber band were turned into an unexpected, engaging time piece, and a practical, functional design.

 

Well received by our clients, our self-promotion Cup Calendars were a useful, daily reminder of our creative acumen and problem solving capabilities.

A best-selling item during the holiday season, our Xmas card is also an award-winning product. We’re proud that, like our YearRound calendars, it's also part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of Design at the Cooper Hewitt.

Avon Products We were commissioned by Avon products to design a sports oriented belt buckle as part of Avon father’s day gift collection. Subsequently, based on the success of the initial baseball icon, we were asked to extend the series to include football, fishing and bowling.
Avon Products Belt Buckles Series

We were commissioned by Avon Products to design a sports series of belt buckles as part of their fathers day gift collection. The design challenge was to create icons with a style conducive to being laser-cut out of brass.

 

Based on the success of the initial baseball buckle, we were asked to design and extend the series to include football, fishing and bowling. 

Tierra Inca Cosmetics Reflecting its pre-Columbian Aztec heritage, Tierra Inca consists of a bronzing powder derived from butterflies’ wings. The packaging was produced as ceramic jars with a cork closure, which serves as applicator. The packaging and its display reflect the historic Inca’s sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

The distinctive packaging and display, reflecting the historic Inca’s sanctuary of Machu Picchu, was cost-efficiently produced as ceramic jars with a cork closure, which serves as applicator.
